A PDT pilot bragged about how they're taking AWAC flying, on the Philly ramp freq last week.
How sad....
AWAC has the best performance of all the AAG regionals on the east coast... including fuel savings...it seems to be the only airline that knows how to operate in this area and still raise the average performance curve for all the regionals. PSA can brag about taking flying...but AAG is probably doing that with a gun to their head because AWACs planes are timing out and flying is being reduced... remember AAG was begging AWAC these past two years to cover for PSA who still can't get it done...that's partly why the planes are timing out...they had to pick up the slack.

If AAG is willing to pay for an aging aircraft inspection for some if these birds... they can continue on...right now at least four are already hacked up for parts....three more are being put in long term storage...but not the desert...
