Typically, comments like you describe simply elicit huge, embarrassed eye-rolls in the other cockpits from the same airline.

AWAC, Compass, Skywest, Horizon, PDT, PSA, Envoy, TSA, Endeavor, etc., are all full of great men and women.

Your comment about the supposed opinion of "real" AA pilots is generally wrong too. Which folks do you want to call "real"? The nAAtives hired off the street? The USAIR folks? The original Piedmont pilots? The America West pilots? TWA pilots? AirCal pilots? Reno pilots? The original PSA pilots? The thousand or so flows from the former American Eagle, now Envoy (many of whom are now Captains at AA), and now PDT and PSA?

Believe me when I tell you that you'd get along great with pilots from any of the airlines I've mentioned - Regional and Major - unless, of course, you're one of every airline's 5% group - those pilots who can't seem to get along with anybody.
Well said.

Regional pilots pick airlines based on the market at the exact time that they are looking for a job, and for a good base. Other than that, we are all the same.
