The morale is definitely different since things have been going in a more positive direction. For the most part everyone is happy or at least content. You'll run into guys that are going to complain no matter what. I've never flown with anyone unsafe or been put into a position where I have to say stop the show or stop something unsafe from happening. Like anywhere mistakes happen but everyone seems to take safety seriously. MX in my opinion is top notch for a regional. If you call them while taxing in they'll sometimes beat you to the gate. They usually get whatever it is fixed if they can and they're just overall pretty helpful. As far as the guys I fly with I haven't had any issues. There's someone out there that has made a couple of new hires cry. Whether it's gotten the right persons attention or not I don't know but for the most part everyone comes in does what they're supposed to do, get along with others and go home.
I thought "ice cream man" retired... if he's back and to his old antics it needs to be dealt with quickly (though I'm guessing this is not the same guy) If it's a 12 year XJ guy describing the career that he (she) has experienced in an autobiographical way then, yea that should make anyone cry.
