I am a nurse and certified diabetes educator. I am a part-time freelance writer for a diabetes website. We have been doing features on different careers with diabetes.

The article I am currently working on is being a pilot with diabetes. I'm aware the FAA will not let you fly, except for privately or gliders, etc. What I am looking for here is pilots with diabetes who are willing to be interviewed by email or phone.

Also, previous pilots who have been grounded due to new diagnosis. Any pilot with information on this subject who does not mind sharing would be great. We want to have the very best article on this subject, as researching it can be confusing. I would maintain anonymity if that is a problem for anyone. Conversely, I would include specific information where the subject is fine with it.
