Considering the money they are investing in them (paint, cabin, and yes I know they painted the Saabs) I don't think they'll all be gone. A small fleet of 50 seaters will be needed to serve a few markets where 76 seats are overkill. I can't recall what scope limits are for 50 seat flying, but it's apparent Skywest/ASA are parking some 200s as they transition to bigger jets.
I can say a good portion of D2C guys are sitting on CJOs, and plenty more are looking at their next move.
Outlook on hiring still looks good, still getting the numbers they've aimed for. Nice to see my name move up the list every month, and find a stack more below it as well.
