I do that sometimes as family is there. Its my new "staging" base as I live in HKG. TPA, JAX, MCO, PBI, and MIA are all options. Two jets a day in and out day and night most days make it reasonable. Lots of Floridian pilots, so booking a few days out might be required, but I've never had a problem getting a seat to/from when I"ve needed one. Some locals who do it more regularly might have better datapoints.
