I have a friend who is interested in working for UAL, SWA or Frontier as a pilot in DEN only. His numbers are:
2700 TT
2000 PIC
1500 ME
580 Jet
Colledge degree
He is not current and hasn't flown in 4 years. What would be the best route to become current again and eventually work for one of those carriers. Looking for a short/long game plan.

Go to a regional and get in the back of the line. Get current, and attend job fairs. Hope for the best.
Same thing that 10,000+ other pilots with the same (or much better) credentials are doing.
