For those who magically think united, delta, or aa will call when they hit their 1000 tpic...good luck! Let's see, delta is taking a certain amount from endevour (and then military), United is taking a certain amount from commutair and express jet (and then military) and aa is taking a HUGE amount from their wholly owneds (and then military). See a common theme?

daOldMan works at PSA, so no surprise he hates eagle. The others appear to be newbies at Skywest who are clearly in the dark as to the realities of the networking (and a lot of luck!) that it takes to get on with one of the big 3.

As for not getting off for a funeral, ***?! I've been given bereavement leave 3 times in my nearly decade here. No questions asked. Once was unpaid as it was a second uncle and the other two were paid for both my grandfathers. All three instances were extremely easy.

Best of luck to you. You sound like you have a good attitude and are starting this marathon of a career off in the right direction. At only 25, you'll do great.
I wish people were not so negative but that is impossible. It is what it is. Making a decision is so difficult. Who knows what will happen in the future.
