As far as negative attitudes I have seen it in full uniform. I am sure it must be my fault somehow. I ALWAYS make sure I use a Navy like term, "permission to come aboard sir" to ask NOT to expect, but still get the negative or condescending attitude. As you say though thankfully it isn't the majority.

Here is one for you. Name me any DCI or other mainline jumpseator that has mentioned to a DAL captain how to operate his cockpit without his/her asking. They might even get asked to leave if they did. I doubt any jumpseator would but it has happened to me ONLY from a DAL jumpseator.
I can assure you I would never even think to tell another captain how to.

I guess from the highly desired and huge difficulty to achieve a mainline job and especially at DAL has created these condescending attitudes that I witness mostly from DAL pilots. Don't care to have any special treatment except to be more cordial as I try my best to regardless.
Wow dude. Shoulder meet chip I guess.

So you had "a" Dl guy say something about how to operate whatever that means. OK. I guess. What was it? What was the context? Did you brief "please speak up if you have a concern about anything"? And how many DL jumpers have you had, and what percentage of those is this one guy?

Anyway, no one was saying Endeavor pilots were literally pretending to be DL pilots. What I think you are referring to is a response to *some* implying that since DL talks about "the entire DL family" etc that DL can't ever get anything (like the reward PS passes) without everyone else getting it, otherwise flagrant hypocrisy and malicious contempt all around.

In any case, I've been on both ends of the jumpseat with pretty much every single airline out there, and its been my experience that its pretty much the same everywhere. If you're having a significantly different experience, maybe you're a far side of the bell curve statistical outlier, or maybe you have a chip on your shoulder, who knows. Either way, if you need a ride, welcome. Seriously.

Oh, and if you see something, say something. I'd rather you do so frivolously than to sit on something that could end up being a thing.
