Personally? I wouldn't care as long as both jobs paid well. I don't have heartburn with longevity pay, although I don't think it's realistic or practical to transition to that system more quickly than perhaps a decade. I don't know what my brain and body are going to be up for when I'm 60, but it doesn't sound like aging men generally dig the body clock shifts. The idea of having the option to make my money (the same money) cossing time zones OR flying 1-days and sleeping in my own bed every night sounds pretty good. If that's what seniority looks like down the road, okay.
