I have a friend who is in training now and is completely miserable. The first hotel was infested with bed bugs. The second hotel is overwhelmed with a mold problem. Hotels were fine, zero issues. Checks were fine and on time. It's a pain, but ID's come the last week. The company PS'd some people home over weekends that needed to go. If your "friend" doesn't need the job and is ready to quit over what I'm assuming are issues not nearly as bad as described, then I'm guessing he/she is in their early 20's, lives at home, and has never wanted for anything.
