Everyone now seems to be using trackers like FitBit... I'm guilty of it too. It does have a pretty good app though that automatically tracks your exercise and sleep based off heart rate over time, plus your steps, stairs, and calories burned. You can log food intake, water intake, and track your weight loss over time. Certain models will vibrate and tell you to get up and walk around every hour.

I use the FitBit app and Runkeeper, it records your runs and connects to music on your phone for the run.
