Maybe the dissimilarity issue or work rule benefits will trump. Both are valid points. Just a theory on my part anyway.
I think the Asia block hour exchange is more a result of the 777 effects on the ANC flying rather than some deficiency in the original model. I've also heard that PEN is maxing out the 767 and could really use an MD back on their ramp. There are a few places in our system that are starting to shine a light on the reality that a 767 isn't a simple equipment swap for an MD. Time will tell.
