Here's one for you... Once every couple of years, our Flt. Ops. has to put out memos to not clean the gear handle because of inadvertant gear extensions in cruise. Maybe "cleaning" is an excuse for my "sasquatch Deer Stag bumped the lever while checlking my eyelids for holes," - I don't know. But I'm sure it's actually happened a few times.
