I have never, nor have I ever heard of anyone at Boutique being pressured into flying into dangerous weather, or bending any rule whatsoever. I have done very time consuming diversions and delayed flights due to weather on multiple occasions. All of these route changes and delays are my discretion with never any more than an "ok, great" from dispatch. Maybe your definition of "weather" is different from mine. I've heard rumor of past Captains absolutely refusing to fly through even any green radar returns. Try that at a major.

Never flown a BTQ aircraft with more than one or two MELs, all being inconsequential and disclosed by dispatch before I get to the airplane.

MX does give pushback sometimes, persistence is key to get the small issues addressed.

In all, the PC12 is a perfect platform for a new captain in pax carrying ops. It's capable, modern, and simple. BTQ, in my opinion, is doing a great job balancing safety, pilot moral and the bottom line. That's not easy in 135 EAS.

But then again, what do I know?
