Best thing (for me) was being able to live in base. There is no comparison to driving to work. Other good positives are the decent pay (Envoy/PSA are now starting to match this), and the crews, which are top-notch.

Different people will tell you different things for best/worst. Some of the negatives I've seen are leftover angst from pre-contract days (from both pilots and management), a few coordinating departments that operate in a pretty disorganized way, and the uncertainty of the bankruptcy.

Bidding: You cannot bid all your days together, due to the 1 day off in 7 regulatory requirement. Within the restrictions this puts on your bidding, however, you can certainly try to get as many days off together as possible. If you don't mind reserve, you will get your choice of days off much faster as a reserve than a line holder.
