Best: Living in base to fly airplanes for a decent wage with good people. The planes are very well maintained, are tons of fun to fly-with or without autopilot on-and most crews are great. The new contract drastically improved things for me regarding compensation.

Worst: Early shows and late finishes, followed by another early show for the next trip a couple of days later. It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough to be quite draining.

Some of the senior captains are great and mostly content with their place in the industry, but others are bitter that they're still at Republic. Try to avoid their negativity, but it can be tough when you're trapped in a closet with someone for twenty hours.
