Throw under a bus to look better is probably a poor choice of words, but it is definitely easier to cast blame to say it's someone else's fault that the deal wasn't better.
This deal is a turd? Stop being a princess. This deal just made the 3 wholly owned AA airlines the highest paying regionals. The point is that it could and would have been even higher had the PSA MEC not-allegedly-jumped at the first offer without so much as a thought.
And I say this as someone who has NO animosity towards PSA at all. None. The only airline I don't care for is Mesa..and I think that is pretty universal at this point. But I have nothing against PSA..in fact I was happy to see us all kind of start to get along with these equal contracts that we all get..as opposed to being played off one another.
