As far as the flow goes, there's too many variables to give an exact time, but for now Envoy and PDT have the better deal.

Can a first year FO at Envoy be a line holder, and get Christmas, Thanksgiving, SuperBowl Sunday, 4th of July, and any other particular day off? Or, get a schedule with 15 days off the first year?
That is why the SAP is key to a great QOL.
