All you mean Ba$tards are just trying to keep the man down. I am ashamed to work with any of you.

You have NO IDEA of the stress of growing up on the streets, then getting paid millions to play a game that can cripple your poor body for the entertainment of the masses. Its SO HARD to try to keep one's cool under such pressure, and the best way to do that is with a little blow, some weed, a bunch o' b*tches to get nasty with, and then let off a little steam with some friends at the dogfight. But you know the only reason they do that is because we so tirelessly exploit the man for our own selfish entertainment. We can go to Vegas, have a Chardonnay, and get together with friends for a BBQ...how can WE demand so much out of these fellas? Heck--how many of us have had out of wedlock sex? Those b*tches just want to grab them a meal ticket so they tries to get knock'd up. Heck--these dudes is the VICTIMS here. Can't you see that?

Now..sarcasm off....

Over the last few years I've pretty much come to one conclusion. NCAA and pro sports are for losers. If you spend your Saturdays and Sundays locked to the tube watching 25 year old Afro Americans pound their bodies into pulp for your entertainment, then you are (IMHO) part of the problem. There are some great role models out there (Curtis? NY Jets comes to mind) but I have grown pretty (&*(( weary of watching and reading this kind of crap for years. I quit going to Auburn football games a few years back, and the number of NFL ticket stubs, shirts, or shoes I own is still at zero. Ditto the NBA, NHL, and about anything else. I do own a Braves shirt--so I'm still a hypocrite.

What do I do in my spare time? I work on side businesses, jetski, play with my kids, ride horses, piddle on the internet in online pilot circles, volunteer for JA, volunteer for my church, and sometimes (rarely) even go to the gym.

I got no time for these wastes of humanity. We have so many real heros out there who never even get a second of fame after their sacrifice, yet we honor these self serving freaks because they can run a 40 yard dash quicker or weigh in at 300 pounds or stand 6' 9" under the net. Fact is when you see a ballplayer at 50 he's usually a washed up hulk who wishes he could have gotten a ride with the Blue Angels back in his prime and wishes that former cheerleader wife of his was still around. (Roger Stauback--land baron--excluded). I've been sickened enough by the ungreatful rapists, thugs, and low lifes mascarading as leaders that I pretty much have sworn the whole bunch off.

My heros? Volunteers. Visionaries. Businessmen. Community leaders. The guy who gets his name on a park or school that nobody out of that town know about, but everyone in that town loves. They are out there. I hope to become one of them. Then again--I'm fat, slow, and balding...so take it for what its worth.
