From speaking to a couple of recruiters and also some HR folks, it seems that most of the people not getting interview offers have incomplete information on their resume. The 10 year work history is a HUGE one that people seem to be leaving incomplete and not getting an offer because of it. Also, make sure the date you list for your medical certificate is up to date (don't accidentally put the date of your expired medical on there) and make sure all of your work history and other dates line up and make sense. Those are the things I was told when I asked. Those who do not get offers after interviewing seem to be those who are unprofessional and don't show up wearing a suit or at least an ironed shirt and a tie (don't show up in your golf slacks with a polo shirt untucked in the back) or can't brief an approach plate or know their basic IFR regulations (123 rule, approach minimums, etc) or who bomb the written test (the gouge is online. They obviously don't expect people to memorize a thousand some plus question/answer bank from the ATP written, but showing up and passing the written test tells them you cared enough to study the gouge and prepare as much as possible). Good luck to all who are applying and interviewing. At this point, if you are otherwise qualified, the job is yours to lose. They want to hire everyone possible, but some things like incomplete applications and unprofessional attitudes in the interview aren't going to be looked over.
