Written Question
The one question I remember from the written test in my interview (a little over a year ago) asked something along the lines of: When you find yourself unstable on an instrument approach prior to the missed approach point, which procedure should you follow?
A) continue the approach to the missed approach point and then follow the missed approach procedure.
B) immediately follow the vertical and lateral guidance of the missed approach procedure.
C) follow only the verticals guidance of the missed approach procedure until you are at the missed approach point, and then follow the lateral guidance.
-This is roughly what I remember but something in the question mislead the entire hiring group and I think we all got it wrong. It was ok though, during the panel interview, they asked the question again and discussed the right answer with me. This sounds really elementary looking back at it, but like I said, I think the wording mislead us somehow. Answer is C
