According to a memo out today, the company will no longer pay up- at the demand of the union. I'm screwed for November since I bid low, based on the new practice. Wonder how many others are in the same boat. What a stupid thing to do. They should have waited at least until December so everyone- (other than union insiders) would know how to bid.
When the last e-mail on this subject came out I knew I'd be seeing the above post on here. Sorry it happened to you; especially when you stayed informed and followed ALPA's original advice on the matter and bid accordingly. Complete BS the way the MEC handled this since then. Four years since we signed the contract and this is happening now?
