It was pretty good after WW2 until the mid late sixties. 70s was furlough time. 78 -82 was ok. 85-90 was eh. 94-2001 eh. Then Quiet for a long time! Then starting in what, 2012. So an average is ten years say.

I remember watching all my regional brothers and sisters getting hired thinking my day would come. It didn't for a long time. At one stage, I even went back to the regionals and enjoyed but it shut down. This business can be frustrating. Some have had great success, others, not so much.
