If you think the Clarion is bad, the Dayton airport hotel was even worse. Thank God they finally tore that place down. Four and a half weeks was brutal in that hotel. No microwaves in the rooms and no fridge. If you wanted a fridge and they had one, you had to pay $1 a day to have one. The only good thing is that it was attached to the training center. Just wake up and roll into class. When I was recalled and did upgrade, we stayed at the Fairfield Inn over on Miller Lane.
