There will be over 40,000 pilots hired by the majors and lcc's in the next 8 years. If any current pilot is still at a regional in more than 5 years, it is their own fault.
If you have a degree, a clean record, and put forth some effort, you will be able to move on.
In the last few months, PSA has been sending as many pilots to Delta as we are to AA.
Actually we have sent more pilots to Delta alone than we are flowing. I know guys who are less than a year away from flow that are actively trying to leave. Flow is nice but its not worth waiting for.
