My friend has a pair in his J-3 Cub. They're fantastic.. you feel the wind in your hair, but can hear each other just fine. I'm buying a set of my own, if I have the money after my multi-Comm checkride. Those earbuds are the same yellow foam as in the throwaway earplugs; they kill off the outside noise effectively. I think I'd rather have the CA headsets than an ANR set - no worries about dead batteries.
