Seems like any sort of ethical person would announce a maintenance issue instead and disregard captains request to blatantly lie?

I got the you're the captain and you catch the fa stealing liquor/what do? While a lot of other questions might say don't throw them under the bus. This is one of those odd ones they are looking for you to be a company player (even though in all honesty, most people will look past this)
