Yes you need to study for the ATP written before you go! Shepard air is awesome. I believe the will still refund your $75 if you score below a %90. They due have a disclaimer that due to the FAA changing up the test you may have several questions not yet in Shepard's test bank.

But $75 back if you score below %90, so what's the problem? Better to study calmly at home Vs cramming in DAY when your job is on the line.
