Just went through the course. They do the ground school portion in the training center in Indy, then they fly you over to CVG for the sims. As of now, they're using the E145 sim. Very educational! They didn't spend too much time focusing on aircraft-dependent stuff, like the systems of the aircraft, or getting nitty gritty with the FMS. That being said, I was glad I did the course in an Embraer aircraft. Even just going through certain scenarios like high altitude stalls and flying approaches, it was great to get a feel for the ram horns and the like. The instructors are check airmen that know both planes really well and did a great job of pointing out differences.
