AMR will give you a class date without the interview in the same timeframe. There is no reason for a new hire to come here unless he REALLY wants Delta or NYC for whatever reason.
This is completely untrue. Once you have 24 months as a captain you are eligible to interview, if you get a CJO you get thrown right into the OTS pool. There's is no metering of candidates once you get a CJO, it's right to delta.
