Let's see, the difference in score was 14 points. The first touchdown came on a "fumble" (looked like the QB's arm was moving forward to me) recovered by CAL defense and another came on a punt return by DeSean Jackson. Neither of those would be considered OFFENSIVE scores.

That leaves 31 Tennessee points to 31 California points put up the OFFENSE.


Don't get me wrong, I know who won, and I'm not trying to rewrite history or play with statistics. My point is, I think Tennessee didn't do too bad a job of containing the Cal Offense. In fact, they did a very good job of containing Jackson after his 77-yard score.


It was painful to watch at times, but it was an exciting game.
