I agree with airfish. would say that the purchase of the certificate is just that. A purchase of a piece of paper (along with associated assets).
I see nothing that would bind NWA (or whatever subsequent company they come up with as a result of this transaction). The company is defunct and all of the pilots have been terminated formally by the company. Even if there was scope that covered such a transaction, certainly something would have to be considered regarding "career expectations," of which there are none for former IDE pilots (at least not under this operating certificate).
