Hey all, I have recurrent coming up and I was wondering if someone could give me a general outline on the events. I understand that the first day is the MV and the second day is the LOE. Is there a day of ground class as well or any written exams? Also, does anyone have any good gouges on what to study for the oral? Thanks
Recurrent ground is three days in class. Last day is CRM and an open book exam. Easy stuff. Review your FOM and if you have the systems wookbook from initial take a look through it. They'll prep you well for everything. I used all my notes from initial and the slides from systems are available on the company site.
MV is no sweat. I knew my sim partner before and we knocked it out quickly, no surprises. Had a few interesting first look events but again, nothing to worry about. LOE is painless. Winter ops, air returns, deicing, QRH junk was all there. Go slow and thorough, work as a crew, share the workload, that's what they want to see. Oral was just a preflight walk around slideshow.
