I live in the trifecta between Montgomery, Birmingham and Atlanta, damn near the same drive time to each of them. It looks like I can get a one leg commute to all PSA domiciles from one of those three options through Delta.
How reliable are commuting flights? Am I going to get stuck alot? Do I legitimately need to try to get a flight out 24 hours before my duty starts?

There are 1 leg flights on PSA metal out of BHM, on AA out of Atlanta, and Air Wisconsin out of Montgomery. You can use Delta for a flight as well if you need to.
For the commuter clause, you just have to list yourself on 2 flights that will get you to work on time. If you can not make it on both, then you can rejoin your trip when you can and it is not held against you.
