Good point, we should treat our own like when OAL pilots walk by ...head turned and eyes on some random object far beyond that person so as not to make any recognition. If that's the worst thing that happens to you when you go to work...

I agree 100% with the OP. Gloves on and working against the deplaning passenger/passengers on board is a hjuge no-no, but if you have your crap out of the flight deck and you WANT to help, knock yourself out.
