I assume you are asking about an extra thousand above 75 hr guarantee. Basically for picking up extra hours you will make 45/hr (150% of pay rate) before tax so you need 22.5 hrs for $1000 extra gross. As others have said, it is almost impossible on RSV if you commute and still challenging if you live in base since you only get 11 days off per month on reserve and still have 117 rules to comply with.
Very doable once you are a line holder.
