I went through the program back in October. It's relatively new but helped me in a tight spot for various reasons. Without it, I'd be struggling to scrap together my last few hours.
Everything is paid for by the company, but you forfeit your signing bonus. However, like the bonus, the FTI requires a 2 year, prorated contract (promissory note), for the cost of your training (includes hotels, $25/day per diem, etc.).
All flying was done at Region Flyers in Valparaiso, IN. Flight school is owned by a great guy, really knowledgeable and helpful. Time building is accomplished via flying cross country routes in C172s and PA-28s. Don't expect anything glamorous, but it got the job done. I needed a few hours of multi, so we hopped in the Apache, which is rather nice might I add.
Let me know if you have questions. Very relaxed atmosphere. ATP/CTP and indoc were great too. Shipping off to STL now for systems. Cheers.
