You are correct. The Supervisor of Ground Training is a qualified Line FO. Last year when Training was slow, a few that were hired as GTI's went to the Sim and got themselves fully qualified. A few of them stayed on the Line as FOs.

What I am talking about, and what I felt Dubz was talking about was the program where new hire FO's would go to the line, get consolidated and then return to the Training Department as IPT Instructors. As I said that ended last Spring.
