It's Delta, United and American who control which planes the regionals fly and 50 seaters are quickly falling out of favor.

The truth is Skywest (a
regional airline...) can operate a 50 seater profitably and Republic couldn't.
Bottom line nobody had an opinion to give the original poster to try and help the original poster. If you want to address the original poster and attempt to help them decide what may or may not be the best place for him go for it.
