Well he's dressing how he's paid. But then again you should dress for the job you want, so if you'd like to be paid as a professional, you should probably dress like one. Black shoes at least. Maybe he's got the green lanyard, the blue airplane shoes and tie are his FOGAF (fresh out of give a ...) for everyone to see.
