The factors you mentioned are very much in their control. 50 CRJ captains flowing in the next 6 months have already been replaced. OCC status is fat right now. 2 new hires on the equipment is not for lack of new hires. Those numbers can easily be changed to fit demand. The planes may be leaving but they've said that before. Many, many times.
