Pay attention to this post, potential new hires. Those of us that actually work at envoy and dare bring up real problems that employees are having are called "mud slingers" and "axe grinders." There's never any attempt to actually address the issues we bring up, the company salesmen simply ignore or attempt to minimize us. Be prepared to be treated this way on the line.
Bottom line is, Envoy is where you want to be if you want a long career at the largest, most stable major airline in the world. When looking at the history of regional carriers, Envoy quite possibly could be the best as it stands at present.
No, envoy was far, far better off when we were American Eagle and did 95% of the regional lift for AMR. Envoy is the antithesis of "stable" right now. Bases have closed and re-opened, the fleet plan is constantly changing, there is no longer any consistency in our schedules.
