Since you are going to be on reserve for a few months (potentially) I would tell you to get into a crash pad again as a commuter. The hotel reimbursement works for SAPers, less for RD 2, even less for LCR, and next to not at all for SCR. I'm sure there is a creative penny pinching (like myself) FO out there who has figured it out but the crashpad was a sure deal for me... when I was commuting.
