As to the training issues of those with a corporate/135 background- there have been some additional training events (a higher number than in the past) of people with non-121 backgrounds. Although there were also military and 121 people who needed additional training as well. Ultimately they all got through their respective programs. A few folks were let go last summer, two were because of training issues (both longtime 121 pilots) and one was let go due to a personality conflict (he was a corporate guy).

Don't let your 91/135 background dissuade you from applying at UPS. They do a good job of hiring great personalities.
