I would suggest calling your current AME and asking him/her if you would qualify for a Class I. You can also contact AOPA, Leftseat.com, AMAS, Dr. Bruce Chien etc for advice on the matter.
It will be my first application. I want to know before I start otherwise I need to choose another life for me
