What could AWAC do for RAH? We just got done getting rid of our 145s, it would seem weird to join up with someone who's fleet is equivalent to those.

How can you say that RAH doesn't need help? It basically doesn't even exist. RAH was a public company, and now all the stockholders are done, adios, caput, no more. And the new Republic is 60% owned by the majors which means the remaining 40% has to be owned by someone. That is fact straight from SEC filings. Bedford is an employee just like the pilots. He didn't own anything or if he did own stock then he now owns nothing. Fact remains the remaining 20 million shares of the new company has to be owned/purchased by someone. I am not suggesting it's AWAC, but please don't keep saying Republic is fine.
