Frontier has a training contract because they ARE a stepping stone and they know it.
Of the 600 rumored to be hired at SWA in 2017 then that would mean only 150 are for growth and the other 450 are for attrition.
And of those 450 newly hired pilots 1/2 will be onto greener pastures in less than 2 years. And in order for 450 to show to class SWA will have to offer 700 pilots class dates.

Great so they are not as large of a stone as we are. But you and I both know they have an issue as well. Is it as large no but there is one. It's 2017 the airline world has changed. The big 3 offer retirements (swa is a 12-15 year upgrade) a totally diffrent route map and now great contracts as well as wide-body's)Nobody is saying your SWA is bad just that they will have the same problem that we do. That problem is not as severe thanks to their contract(which is what I have be saying) but even that won't stop guys from leaving or not showing up to class.
But here I will end this for you.
SWA=AMAZING
JETBLEW=SUCKS
Problem is we work for JetBlue...
