Why would you even wait? Ask yourself, if I was offered a job with Delta, Fedex, UPS or any other carrier that cares about its pilots today would I turn it down? Of course not!! You can't accept the position if you do not apply. Seniority is everything. Do you think UPS really cares about pilots? They think they are glorified truck drivers, they even tried to make their truck drivers pilots at one time. Don't equate pay and benefits with caring. UPS and FEDEX will be the first guys to let UAVs move packages via large freighters. My farther flew for UPS for 23yr, he always told me "I can put up with a lot of BS because of the pay, that doesn't mean I like the BS though."
