There are some others in my hire class with much longer down time than mine either due to difference equipment or seniority. I know if you're trying to schedule something in advance that's not going to help but I actually like having a bit of extra time to study up on limitations/memory items/flows before getting into the heart of the training so it works for me.

As far as pay, was told we were getting the normal training pay the entire time. However, I was told we only got 16 hours per day per diem for days we actually attended training. Getting that for days at home would be a nice surprise. Obviously haven't been here long enough to say what the pay stub shows.
